Long overdue commission for :iconenaxn:

I swear, you are the most awesome and patient person in the world hun.

This was from my old lineart commissions from last year and with college kicking
into high gear at the time, I had to put this on hold for longer then I intended
and only now was able to come back and finish it.

It was only suppose to be lineart but I took it a step further because of the
wait as well as wanting to try some different coloring and layering methods.

I'm a bit out of practice with dragons in general, but I think this came out ok
considering how complicated Illumarae are with all those scales OH GOD.

Syzdaa is one beautiful looking boy though and I still adore his colors, so this
was really enjoyable to work on. :heart:

Nicely done scale work. Linework like this would be daunting for me. Which is why I prefer lineless illustrations.

Ohhhhh my lordlord Heilos this is SO so gorgeous. The GORGEOUSEST of gorgeous oh my LORD! You are so GOOD with dragony creatures oh my god Syz should totally be frands with Tahlia pleeeease. Like GOD look at his gorgeous anatomy! Look at those perfect feet and the articulate toes I love the back toes that are curled under him like that and his graceful neck and lovely feathered WINGS I so envy your feather drawing skills god and EVERYTHING eeeeee omg.

Your linework is so DETAILED! Like all the shape-forming lines on his head and how PERFECT all his teeth are and all those SCALES my LORD the scales! They interlock SO so well! And they're all so uniform and neat and LOVELY so so lovely oh my god. He's such a shiny perfect scaly goddess and I'm sure he LOVES it.

The coloring too is so neat and tidy and GORGEOUS, man! I will NEVER be able to clean up like this! I LOVE the way you gradient his blues like that! It's so natural and yet still so NEAT. Mmph that gorgeous cel-shading makes his scales look so clean and shiny and like hard candy or something. Omg they're so glossy and shiny I LOVE THEM. I love the way you shaded the back of his head too. You gave such form and shape to it and omg in love.

This is really and truly just FANTASTIC. Thank you SO so much for this! AND for coloring it! You absolutely didn't have to, but MAN do I appreciate it! Thank you THANK YOU ilu! :heart:

It's funny you mentioned the feet because the curling toes are my favorite part too. XD

They should totally be friends! I haven't drawn Tahlia in forever which needs fixing
in the near future. So much red and blue friendship would be had though haha.

I'm glad you like the coloring, I really wanted to push myself on this and give you
something nice in return for your patience even if you only wanted lineart. c:

WOW! The detail on this alone is breath-taking. I could never draw dragons, not even in detail like this. But if I could, I would have to use your pic as reference for the scales and feathers. This is lovely and very well-done. =3
